Tranquil and holding such secrets and mysteries, the Desert Tour of Egypt allows you to discover what this natural wonder means to you.

Day 1: Arrive in Egypt
You will be met by our representative in the Cairo International Airport. You will transfer to your hotel aboard a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to spend the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids Tour
After breakfast in your hotel, you will visit Memphis, the first capital of Egypt. You will then visit the Step Pyramid in Sakkara, and then enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Next, you will visit the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The Sphinx and the Valley Temple round out your day, with a return to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Bahariya Oasis
On day 3 of your Desert Tour of Egypt you will enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and then travel to Bahariya Oasis aboard a 4x4 Jeep. You can explore the village, as well as the English House, the Temple of Alexander and the Golden Valley of the Mummies. You’ll stay the night in Bahariya.

Day 4: White Desert and Black Desert
You will enjoy a trip into the White Desert, through the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize. You’ll explore Crystal Mountain, as well as the volcanic wonder of the Valley of Agabat. You will enjoy the sunset over the White Desert and then make camp with a Bedouin dinner.

Day 5: Farafra & Dakhla
You will break camp and then travel to Farafra Oasis to enjoy the hot springs, as well as the palm groves. Badr’s Museum in the village is well worth exploring, as well. You will then move on to Dakhla Oasis and spend the night surrounded by the rose-colored cliffs for which the area is famed.

Day 6: Kharga Oasis
You will start your day with a trip to the Roman Temple of Deir El Hagar, as well as the Roman burial grounds at Mezzawaqqah. You will explore Kharga Oasis and enjoy the natural hot springs here. The ethnic museum here is enjoyable, as well. You will explore the Roman Temple of Hibis, and the nearby Christian burial grounds at Bagawat, as well as Qasr El Labeka. The Temple of Dush and Baris Oasis are also on the list. You’ll finish your day back in Kharga.

Day 7: Arrive Luxor
You will enjoy breakfast and then travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor, where you will check into your hotel.

Day 8: Luxor & Karnak Temples
You will enjoy breakfast in your hotel and then transfer to your luxurious Nile cruise ship, which will sail for Luxor. Here, you will explore the Temples of Karnak, as well as the Luxor Temple. Your cruise will continue overnight and you will enjoy dinner aboard ship.

Day 9: Luxor West Bank
You will start your day with breakfast aboard ship and then visit the Valley of the Kings, as well as the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served aboard ship, as will afternoon tea and dinner as you sail to Edfu.

Day 10: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Breakfast will be served aboard ship and then you will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. You will board the ship once more and sail to Kom Ombo, where you will enjoy lunch, as well as visiting the Kom Ombo Temple, before continuing on to Aswan. You will stay aboard ship for the night.

Day 11: Aswan Sightseeing
In Aswan, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, as well as the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. The Botanical Gardens are worth a visit and you will once more stay the night aboard ship.

Day 12: Disembarkation/Back to Cairo
You will leave the ship after breakfast and have some leisure time in Aswan before transferring to the train station. You will depart Aswan aboard a sleeper train bound for Cairo.

Day 13: Arrive in Cairo
You will be met at the Giza train station and then conveyed to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 14: Final Departure
